Gorman Distributors is a family owned and operated business that has been in the heart of Lancaster City since 1963. The original owner Benjamin F. Gorman started in the Laundromat business in 1960. He realized there was a need for readily accessible coin-vend products and decided to venture into wholesaling these laundry products with his nephew Damian Gorman.
Shortly after he started wholesaling laundry soap he came across a glass front candy machine to place in his laundry so that his customers could enjoy a snack while doing their laundry. This machine was a big success and he decided to add vending machines and candy products to his already growing soap business. Now Gorman Distributors wholesales and vends almost 1,300 different products.
Not much has changed in the past forty years. Ben has retired and the company is now owned by his nephew and business partner for many years, Damian Gorman. Gorman's is still very much a family business that prides itself on building long term customer relationships. At Gorman's our focus is on customer service and we want you to feel like you are part of the family.
